Very poor selection compare the American version. Some of the Amazon shows are one season behind and the movies are old. Very disappointing. Not worth it.

Yes im happy that this comes with my prime subscription... But its not a good start, first of all we cant watch the shows in HD. Like others said no matter what settings you use it WILL NOT WORK!! The catalog is ridiculous and real boring, besides a couple of original content from amazon the rest is less than desire. So not only the the shows are not good but we also cant even watch it in HD. 1 star for poor execution.

Wish I could give it 5 star. If we didnt get screwed by Amazon, like not having the full content of show like "the man in the high castle"? Where is season 2??? Or remove the app from the store its a rip of.

Limited selection, but worth a try. Video and sound are clear; works well on both iOS devices and Samsung smart tv.

It took me two years to realize I had access to prime videos. Decent deal, since I have save quite a bit of money on delivery on birthday and Christmas shopping. Prime Video is like the cherry on top of the sundae. I enjoy a few of the limited series, and have put a "to watch" tag on some of the movies that I havent seen in ages. I do agree with some other reviewers that the video quality is not always good.

The navigation is just ok. The content is pretty meagre. Not much more than Crackle. Go for Amazon prime for the free shipping, not for the Amazon video. Maybe in 5 years with more content it will be better. Video quality is good. Amazon original series are hit or miss.

Unbelievably bad viewing experience. Save yourself some grief and just use your browser on a desktop machine.

For starters, not a fan of the glorified advertised paragraph about how much there is to offer for prime video but if youre in canada, 85% of what the advertise you dont get. For a 80 dollar subscription fee for the year is really steep considering most of what they offer can be watched in less then a month. Canada should get what they entirely have to offer. If they think they can compete with other streaming media sources, theyre are completely wrong. Extremely disappointed.

Great app, but really could improve the content in Canada. Theres a handful of tv shows and only a few more movies.

I have a great internet connection. Nothing I do on any of my devices will give me decent video quality. I have no idea why Amazon even released this app to Prime members in Canada. Its clearly crap -- and not ready for prime time (excuse the pun). Judging by the high amount of negative reviews, I know that I am not alone. Happy I have Netflix -- which actually works. Amazon. Step up to the plate.

My last review 2 wks ago partly stated: "This [number of films] is fine to start but people will leave in droves if numbers dont increase significantly." I think Amazon has added ONE film since I wrote that. So, I have knocked off one star & will keep doing so if this trend continues - until there are none left, & I have quit Prime.

Its great to be able to watch movies on the go... when the app lets you. The app itself is very navigable. I love the option to skip forward and backward quickly and the trivia and cast that pops up. What I dont like is the buffer. The player used to stream the video is very outdated and frustrating. I often only have two bars of reception where I live, which is usually enough to stream anything with minimal lagging. I can watch Netflix, YouTube and anything on Safari. However, when it comes to this app, it will rarely stop buffering. I will sit for 10 minutes just waiting for it to start and it never does! Even when it does turn on (after I exit the app and enter it again) it will stop every five minutes. I remind you that with the same reception I can use Netflix, YouTube and VidAngel perfectly. They really need to fix this issue.

I enjoy watching variety of shows at moments notice (like now in doctors office) and picking up where I left off at home later for rest of show. Easy to load and set up was simple. Watching on phone with Bluetooth ear buds is a bonus.

Very user friendly. Only wish there was a way to pick up a movie or show where you left off without having to re-search it again and remember where you left off.

I have subscribed to Netflix,Hulu, and Amazon prime for videos but by far Amazon Prime has the least selection of shows and movies. Worst part is you have to pay to see any movie not under the Amazon Prime selection. They maybe have 3 new movies from that year if at all and the other movies are so unpopular even google had poor reviews for them. So disappointed.

Its well designed and great content. Wish the smart tv version of this app could be as good as the iOS app!
