One of the best streaming apps

I love being able to effortlessly find more information about the show Im watching.

It is very annoying that the app does not have a list of recently watched movies. I paused movie and looked for something else. If I wanted to come back to the same movie, I have to search for the movie again. What a poor interface design.

Why would you create an app that is unable to support digital downloads?!?!? That seems to be a big inconvenience for those buying iPads for the convenience of not having to pull out a laptop or log into a desktop.

Not quite as intuitive as it could be nevertheless it is now my app of choice for watching videos. I am watching series after series from great tv to movies and documentaries. This will keep me occupied for a while thats for sure.

Clear, easy to get around in, well-placed controls for pause, play, etc.

I really like the user interface of the actual movie player in this app. Its superior to apps like Netflix, Hulu or the Apple video app. But Im baffled by why you cant buy or rent videos directly from the app. Youd think thats exactly what Amazon would be focusing on, but no, you have to go to Amazons website to make a purchase. Why is completely beyond me.

You should be able a video in the app. Its ridiculous that you have to go to the website to purchase the video just Amazon can try to save money on Apples percent of app sales. Ludicrous. Cut it out. You obviously dont care about the convenience for your customers who prefer Apple devices. Think about the customer.

I hate when there is a title and you click on it and it has to be purchased per episode. 1.99$ per episode for Eureka? Are you kidding me? What a joke. Thank goodness for Netflix.

App need the ability to rent/buy, without leaving it. App also needs better multi user support.

I really enjoy the old movies a great deal.

I use it with the Apple TV and love watching series on it

Biggest thing Id like to see is the ability to do what Im doing here. Rating and reviewing the movies. If the ability exists in the iPhone app, I cant find it.

Useless without Chromescast capability.

1080p playback needs to be added to match the iPhone 6 Plus screen resolution.

I like the app, it has some of classics that I can watch for free, but many still require me buying them, even though Ive paid for Amazon Prime? Besides getting free shipping or whatever, Im not really sure of my benefit. If the streaming service is included, why am I paying any extra? Or is this more of an "I bought these shows/movies and with this streaming service, I can watch them anywhere" type app? If thats the case, Id rather they say exactly that rather than try to sell it as a free streaming service, like Netflix or Hulu, that comes along with Amazon Prime. Also, why for my entire 30 day trial, was there not one commercial, then about a week after, Im getting hit with them? Id have liked to know there were commercials before I purchased. Otherwise, Id just stay with Netflix. They may not have the classics, but I know most things, if not everything, there is free and no commercials, which if I didnt mind them, Id just watch the television. Amazon, for all the money you make, you could definitely offer this stuff to the Prime customer for free. I guess its good enough to watch I Love Lucy, so thats something, at least. Only reason I subscribed. Think Ill just buy the boxed set next time and pay shipping and handling for the couple of purchases I make a year.

Can be a bit buggy at times but overall a fairly decent app. Better than some popular streaming services but could benefit from a format change; current presentation, search and favorites queue are a bit muddled.

I have amazing service and use wifi when available but this app lags and also has the videos looking so fuzzy its not even worth the trouble. Total delete
