Please add back the closed captioning feature!! It disappeared after the last update.

Id like to be able to buy or rent videos from my phone, cant even do it from a web browser with the phone! Besides that crashes occasionally but usually works when I need it.

Really this is just garbage... I should not have to pay for amazon prime! And still have to play for all the TV shows and movies! HONESTLY this is ridiculous you only get like 1/15 shows free... Literally i looked up my top favorite 15 shows and only 1 was free! Honestly... I mean seriously just... Good lord this is just pathetic. I am truly disappointed. Now if you will excuse I have some NETFLIX to watch.

Its garbage app,cant airplay

The app is awesome overall. I can stream movies/TV series anytime, and, with Prime membership, most of it is free. There are a few bugs though, which can be really annoying: If you try to select a bunch of movies/shows for download and then there is any connection error, the app will give you an error notification for every single download and there is no way to make it stop (in app notifications, that is... You can make it go away outside the app through phone settings, of course). Also, it freezes a lot. Overall, really glad I have this app and use it a lot, just need to fix the in-app notifications (allow disable).

Has many more usability features than Netflix, including back 10, forward 10, x-ray. I especially like the pause in the middle of the screen (easier to get to when on the treadmill). Could use better search capability though. And more free movies.

Did update and can no longer get app to work. Ready to cancel Prime if it doesnt work soon!

Bugs: Alarm doesnt work properly when watching videos. Terrible performance when switching between shows. Lots of lag for downloaded shows when fast forwarding or rewinding. Why would it be faster to rewind (multiple times) if you are streaming? When will I be able to use my Comcast subscription for Showtime and Starz inside of Amazon instant video? I can do this on my Apple TV. Speaking of Apple TV...hmm? User story: As a xfinity subscriber I want to use the Amazon app for all video content so that I dont have to use ~5 different apps to watch movies and tv series. You previously HAD the best fast forward and rewind controls of any video player app until you shrunk them. You were years ahead of Netflix and HBO GO. Please restore the larger fast forward and rewind controls. Helpful? Vote below!

Why offer the ability to download episodes onto my device but then limit the download speed to 2h for 45min of watching time? Is this supposed to make me want to switch to Amazon products and away from my iPhone? Such a great app otherwise, addressing this would probably make it a top 10 app in the apple store...

Twin peaks is on. What a perfect show to wind down with and and a glass of wine and an ambien. Interesting enough to keep the world out, but intricate and slow enough to soothe me to sleep.

I love Amazon and I love this app, however a recent changed has messed up the way you could skip 10 seconds at a time. Now, instead of the button remaining on the screen to press again to skip 20 seconds, the button disappears far too quickly before I can get enough context in the show Im watching to figure out if I had gone too far or not. I then need to touch the screen to bring up the buttons and then press the button again. Youve taken an action of skipping or rewinding 1 minute of a show from 7 taps to now 14 taps. Please change back!!! Give user a little bit more time to get context in their video to make sure they dont want to skip ahead or rewind further.

Why is the explicit setting required to be on for movies to load? My childs iPad has restrictions to allow movies up to PG-13 & to download this app, Im required to allow explicit content! Thats ridiculous! Please change this immediately!!

Latest update review only - After the advertisement banner loads (xfinity X1 ad right now...), the entire Amazon pages goes white other than navigation bar at top. Makes app in un-useable... I cant spend my money!!! Please fix app.

I like it and it’s currently the only option to watch Amazon videos on the AppleTV by air playing it from an iOS device. Having said that - it would be great to have it as a native app on the new AppleTV.

Great overall app. Needs to have a larger library of shows to stream.
