So a couple of months ago I got prime video on my tablet and then a little bit ago every time I tried to get into prime video it would bring me back to the home page it won’t let me get ride of the app fully please help

I’m using this on a computer with 15.4 OS. The app won’t let me login consistently. It played an episode of a TV program, then started telling me the device is not supported. I’ve got the latest OS and browser that meet the requirements on Amazon’s website. The App Store say this plays on my computer but it does not. When I try using Safari, it tells me they are having a problem with the video and to try later. The best their support folks had to fix it was that I should load it on my phone.

On my AppleTV device, I’m not getting my full list of purchased movies, nor am I able to see my complete watch list. It only lets me scroll to about 10 items, and I’ve purchased many more movies than ten. Please fix.

As the title says advertisements are unacceptable for a service. Advertisements are for free services and people need to start standing up to this.

Even if you watch the ads and try and skip back it to make you watch them again

So now, you make us update our tvOS to get what could be the worst app for streaming videos. Read the most recent reviews and count how bad it is. Greedy Bezos with stupid ads added between episodes and the start/finish of every movie. Oh btw, keep taking our personal info and selling it to whomever bids the most money.

I just want to say that is the most inaccurate rating I have ever seen. There is killing and death and they even say a few curse words in less than the range of five minutes! FIVE MINUTES! I seriously have a BIG ISSUE with this! They should make a rating tv y10 because I am nine! I heard them say multiple curse words and this degraded my experience.

Programming is waning, with formulaic nonsense filling the viewing options. Increasingly paid content is on the rise. This is particularly annoying when amazon holds the last seasons of a series hostage, after providing the earlier ones in the included price. Sports content also on the decline.

I pay for prime to not have ads. They’ve now added them back in. Rip off

They don’t have original audio support for all their content. Dubs only for some shows.

It would send me a bill each month and I did not have a subscription or membership.

I’m paying for Amazon prime why is it when I click on the movie or show I want to watch it wants me to get Apple TV or paramount + to watch the movie I pay Amazon prime to watch already. why is it now making me pay more subscriptions to get movies or show that are not even on that platform!

So I got a free subscription on my phone for having prime for the first time but when that ran out I still had money on my phone and prime took my money without any feedback and paid for a 10.99 month subscription and I cancelled it and it said it does not have to give it back I just want my money back so please prime give it back

Like many video apps, this is more concerned with Amazon’s desires than with the wishes of users. One example, the lack of playback speed controls, useful to many people, among them people like me who like to watch foreign language content.

The price of Prime keeps going up and the ads in movies longer and more intrusive. Now, more scenes are being cut to make space for the ads

I personally Love Netflix, Hulu, Disney & other apps that allow you to swipe out/back instead of tapping on the back/X button at the top corner of the page. I love watching movies & shows while getting comfy & ready to sleep. So when I can lazily just swipe on my phone when holding my phone in one hand as I lay comfortably, I don’t like going to prime videos because they don’t let you swipe anywhere. It’s such a Small spot you can swipe back that it takes like 15 seconds before I just end up tapping back because it’s just not even worth trying to find where to swipe I have iOS, I don’t know if I will ever really watch anything on Amazon until it’s changed to swipe like how Netflix or Hulu does. Being half asleep & having a gummy, I just don’t like having not to swipe when Every other app lets me

I have almost every streaming app and I have to say Amazon Video has stepped up their game!!! Yrs ago it wasn’t so good now this is MY GO TO APP! When I get off work & want to catch up on some of my shows or watch a new or even one of my old favorites Prime has it! They’re great about keeping up with all the seasons all the popular tv shows & new release movies! I just can’t say enough good about this app!!! AND even though they’re so amazing offering sooo much they’re not ridiculously expensive like those other streaming serves!! Thank you Amazon Video!!

So apparently now prime is putting ads now. And after paying for Prime vide because it was one of the only tv apps that doesn’t have ads. You know have to pay AGAIN to not have those ads you never got before

There is a genuinely unbelievable number of ads on this app. Amazon is a trillion dollar company and charges to use the platform to begin with but the execs are still so mind numbingly greedy that they place several ads every few minutes. This might be tolerable except the user experience is genuinely awful. Cancelling immediately

No option to sign in with Passkey. Unlike Amazon app, only prompt is for password. No password exists for the account.

The whole model was based on getting off cable and avoiding annoying ads. The overall content feels like it’s sub(prime), honestly. I spend way more time on Netflix and Max. With ads, I’m leaving.

Well written, well said, and I thank you. I don’t want a bundle of expensive garbage scrolling across my screen.It’s not what I want to pay Amazon for and it’s on the sleazy side of salesmen-ship. Stop.

Great app with great movies/tv shows. However I am unable to watch anything from my phone to my tv when I am using my hdmi adapter to do so. All other streaming apps aside from paramount+ works while using my adapter. Would love to rate higher and would like to subscribe to prime video, however until this issue is addressed I am fine with the streaming services that I already use. Apple and Amazon really should put their heads together to find a solution. This issue occurs with my iPhone 13 using apples lightning to hdmi adapter.

My audio cuts out a lot. I also get a frozen screen after ads. Ads are also very repetitive and annoying.

This was working fine and now I get a turn off your vpn. Why? What changed? I am using an iPad. I have gone to prime help and it just goes in circles from one help to another. How do I fix this? How do you fix this!

There isn’t any cast that comes on tv anymore if scroll up with the Apple Remote

Was a great app until they decided to put 2 min long ads every 10 minutes or so. Want $3 on top of your Amazon prime subscription, that’s ridiculous.

Why are there ads? I wanted to pick up a show from where I left off on my PC, but to skip to that time in the ep, I gotta watch 4 minutes of ads? No thanks. Showing the cast when you pause is a cool feature. If not for that, I would put 1 star. Hope I don’t get spoiled by it by accident though.

I have the app with ads and every time I rewind the show to watch a specific scene it shows me all the ads over again even if I just watched them. It’s so annoying.

This app has crashes during a video I’m trying to watch. It keeps crashing when it’s played in the background I don’t know why it does it it’s very annoying when it crashes.. I suggest it needs a update fast

The reason for the low rating has to do with the Apple TV version of this app. Using the AppleTV model A1842 running tvOS 18.4 and Prime Video version 1.8.26 navigation within a video is unusable. You cannot fast forward or rewind. Swiping doesn’t do anything. Holding the edges of the trackpad doesn’t do anything. Using Siri to fast forward or rewind doesn’t do anything either. Please fix the navigation within the AppleTV version of the app.

X-ray no longer shows up and a number of seemingly arbitrary changes of player controls/user interface on Apple TV wrecks the user experience.

I hated when they added ads but not only that but the frequency of these ads keep going up. A 1 hour episode now that I watch feels like their are 6 or 7 ads plus they second u try and start watching again it give me a rlly long ad. I’m disappointed

Only kids movies are showing up to view. Cannot get any other kinds of content.

Watching ads will not remove them from timestamp in playback. Ad breaks usually interrupt important moments, yet if you try to rewind to the moment before the ad, even after watching it, the ad break repeats. This is predatory and intrusive to subscribers (of a paid service mind you.) I’ll be switching to Hulu until this issue is fixed.

Maybe you should have it for your VR import or anything else that has your app to have a function for a email verification as another way to login like other platforms like YouTube or others have.

I tried watching a movie and the app won’t load even with mobile data or WiFi it stops working

slow clunky junky UI nothing respond on time. the whole app feel like a amateur entertainment company not a multi billion dollar company app

Prime used to be amazing. Great content. Great experience. THE ADS ARE MISERABLE. Apparently Prime decided their riches weren’t enough and chose to drown users with ads unless you volunteer to pay even more. Shame. Even the mighty are falling.
